Communication Strategy
Although the Mentor-Protégé Program (MPP) had been around for 10 years, at the time of my hire they had zero web presence and very little branded communications.
The Program Director challenged me to quickly build a marketing presence in time for a new program offering launching in five months. I planned and executed the following communication strategy in less than three months:
Commissioned UAH Office of Marketing Communications (OMC) to create a variety of branded logos.
Authored content for marketing purposes.
Created a storyboard for web; collaborated with OMC web designer, who established pages. (I have maintained web pages since then.)
Updated trifold and developed other printable collateral.
Revitalized all existing communications (presentations and fact sheets) with branded content.
Established and linked social media presence; namely, YouTube, LinkedIn and Facebook.
Our YouTube channel now has 20+ seminar and workshop videos.
Coordinated website and social media calendars; continually refresh channels with SEO optimized content.
